As part of our service every Sunday, we like to share 3 Virtues of Bear Creek Church. One of them is: "We love you enough to tell you the truth!"

And we believe TRUTH (with a capital T) is not a set of rules, philosophies or concepts...it's the person of Jesus Christ.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." - John 14:6

For the last 2 months, our preaching team has taug

For the last 2 months, our preaching team has taught verse by verse through chapters 2 & 3 of the Gospel of Mark.

We learned that 'desperate people do wild things' and that Jesus was 'perfectly at home at the party.' Pastor Daryl reminded us that 'some things don't mix' and Pastor Paul assured us that 'it's OK to be angry.'

✨Senior Staff Highlight: Meet Ron✨
Ron just moved here from North Carolina (although he'll quickly tell you that he grew up in the NJ/Philly area) to join our team as Media Director. He's been doing creative work for the past 10 years and most recently served at another church in the same role. Outside of church, he has spent time as a photographer mainly capturing couples and families...but is always open to a new project that challenges his creativity! Be sure to say HI & WELCOME when you see him around campus!

If you happen to experience God at any point in any place, chances are...it’s not by accident.

If you happen to attend a place of worship where God’s presence is alive and active, chances are… it’s not by accident.

Our church family has been experiencing an outpouring of the presence of God and last Sunday was no exception.

Here’s why…
14+ people arrived an hour before service to pray & intercede.
30+ women filled the worship center on Wednesday evening and prayed over each chair.
Our senior staff meets every Sunday morning at 7:45am to pray for the service and for our people.
Every week, our pastor prays & fasts countless hours for his flock and in pursuit of God’s presence.

So the next time you experience God in your life, make no mistake…it’s not an accident, fluke, karma, or universal sign.

It’s likely due in part to the faithful prayers of someone you don’t even know.

If you want to be part of what God is doing and see spiritual discipline grow within your life...start in prayer.

“All the believers lifted their voices together in prayer to God…After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.” Acts 4:24&31

"As a young kid, I was known to get angry a lot. God used my aunt to teach me right from wrong from a godly perspective...eventually, I repented of my sin and surrendered my life to Christ.

Jesus says in John 14:15, 'If you love me, keep my commands.'

After I was saved, I was truly a changed person. I went from being a child who was very angry to someone who is now kind; a child who was stubborn & rebellious to someone who is very obedient, both to my family and to the Lord.

Now, I pray that my life will be used for His Glory and my good."

As part of our service every Sunday, we like to share 3 Virtues of Bear Creek Church. One of them is: "We are a Bible-believing church!"

This simply means that we believe the WHOLE Bible, not just the passages we like...even the parts that may seem offensive, unpopular, or politically incorrect. If you listen to a message from one of our teaching pastors, you'll find less emphasis on personal opinion and more focus on reading and preaching straight from God's Word.

"All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness." - 2 Timothy 3:16

Wow! It’s hard to put into words what happened in our service today. We are so thankful that God allows us to participate in His plan to provide salvation, transformation, commission, and freedom for His people. ❤️
