Bible Story

Catching Fish
Luke 5:1-10

After Peter didn't catch any fish, Jesus does something amazing and Peter's nets were filled with more fish than his boat could hold.

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, say: "Good morning, [child's name]! Jesus loves us and wants to help us like He helped Peter. So let's remember to ask Jesus to help us because Jesus is amazing!"
 

Drive Time

While on the go, take turns naming things that you think are amazing, like outer space, volcanoes, and cheetahs that can run super fast. Then, talk about how Jesus is amazing because Jesus has the power to do things that only He can do.

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: "God, help us remember that Jesus is amazing and can help us with anything."
 

Bath Time

Add bubbles and toy fish to bath time. Tell your child to catch the fish and line them up on the side of the tub. Count the fish together. Talk about how Jesus made Peter catch so many fish that the fish filled two boats and then they began to sink! Jesus is amazing!
